Josephites….

Counting on fingers,
Learning ABCs with massive lingers.
From them to huge volumes,
Even aside, learnt drawing the favourite cartoons.
Everything under a single roof,
Of which lucid outgoers are an immortal proof!
A sacred paradise,
Possessing so prudent eyes.
Exuberantly red,
It’s the place….from where we’ll be grown to be fed.
Enjoying that lunch,
Watching those blossoms blooming in bunches..
We spelt,
We learnt,
We played,
We prayed…
We drew,
And we grew.
From that tiny tot,
Possessing those crocodile tears in huge lot.
To a well striven Josephite,
Who can’t ever hold on to flaunt about their guiding lights.

“Be holy and lead other to holiness.”
Is not just our motto, but what our soul possesses.
Being always available for each one,
Because only then, in this beautiful race we can be declared as won.
Different races,
Infinite faces.
Yet our heart similar,
Which even in the crowdest streets make Jospehites look familiar.
Being a Josephite is not just a collective noun,
But an identity; being unique from the peeps around.
Doctors, engineers, authors,
Civil servants, teachers, professors….
And so on…are St Joseph’s products,
All coz their parents tactfully curated.
Not a single profession,
Have the Josephites left; distinctive impression..
Discipline being engulfed in the veins,
Together we face all the situation, like a train.
Virtues possessed in gallons,
Always shining like the rising balloons.

  1. Wonderful explanation of a family and a great identity,a word that does not need a description but is itself a big difference. Being a Josephite is an identity and I proudly hold it with me .
